Mr. Rafał Lew-Starowicz is a visionary leader driving the digital transformation of education in Poland. As the Vice President of EdTech Poland Foundation, he plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between education, business, and public institutions to advance innovation and digital learning ecosystems across the country.

Since 2021, Rafał has been actively shaping the edtech landscape by championing initiatives that connect policymakers, educators, and technology innovators — building bridges for a smarter, more connected education system.

With an extensive background in educational policy, he has held senior positions at the Ministry of National Education and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, and has represented Poland in global forums such as the OECD Education Policy Committee and the European Commission’s Working Group on Digital Skills and Competences.

A strong advocate for digital literacy and online safety, Rafał has co-authored several influential reports on digital education and child and youth online safety. His contributions have earned him recognition as one of the “Top 100 Individuals Who Have Most Contributed to the Development of Digital Competencies in Poland” by the SPRUC chapter.
